Recently the Lundy team have been working closely with Countryside Mobility to improve access to Lundy. We have acquired two 'Tramper' 4 x 4 scooters, to people better enjoy the island. The two Trampers can allow you to access a large proportion of the footpaths and tracks on the island and enjoy the views, natural beauty and tranquility.
We have also worked with Countryside Mobility to produce an information sheet for visitors to read before visiting Lundy, find it here.
This video from Countryside Mobility gives you a step by step view of visiting the island and using one of our trampers.
You can also watch this video, of a start to finish visit via the MS Oldenburg to the island.

Lundy is the latest hire location to be rolled out thanks to Countryside Mobility's sister project, Heritage Ability, which helps heritage attractions across the South West to be more accessible. The funding from the The National Lottery Heritage Fund enabled the initial purchase of the Tramper while Rachel Johnson, a long time Lundy enthusiast has generously covered the first year lease fee.
