About the ship

MS Oldenburg is a graceful motor vessel, comfortable and built on traditional lines. Below decks she retains her original panelling and brass fittings, but has been skillfully modernised to provide heated saloons, bar, buffet, shop and information centre.

The bar offers a wide range of drinks and a relaxing atmosphere, whist hot and cold food is provided at the buffet. You can while away the time in our well stocked shop or find out more about the island at the information centre.

On fine days there is plenty of space on deck and if you are lucky you may be treated to the company of a playful pod of dolphins who often delight in following the ship.

MS Oldenburg has scheduled sailings to Lundy up to four times a week from either Ilfracombe or Bideford and can carry 267 passengers.

She is also available for charters such as business meetings, private parties, fund raisers and wedding receptions.
