Travelling by MS Oldenburg

2024 Day return tickets cost £52 for adults, £27 for children under 16 and infants under four travel free of charge. A family ticket for two adults and two children is £120, other family combinations are available please telephone for details. Concessionary tickets (senior citizens/National Trust members/students/NHS staff) are £47.
The journey to or from Lundy usually takes less than two hours. The ship’s departure time from Lundy will be announced by the ship as you arrive at the island.

Cancelled sailings
In the event that the Captain decides that conditions are not suitable for day trip visitors you may change your booking to another date or obtain a refund.
No refunds can be issued for sailings that actually take place. It may be possible, providing we have been given 48 hours notice, to transfer tickets to another sailing that season.
About the ship
MS Oldenburg is a graceful motor vessel, comfortable and built on traditional lines. Below decks she retains her original panelling and brass fittings, but has been skilfully modernised to provide heated saloons, bar, buffet, shop and information centre.
The bar offers a wide range of drinks and a relaxing atmosphere, whist hot and cold food is provided at the buffet. You can while away the time in our well stocked shop or find out more about the island at the information centre.
On fine days there is plenty of space on deck and if you are lucky you may be treated to the company of a playful pod of dolphins who often delight in following the ship.
MS Oldenburg has scheduled sailings to Lundy up to four times a week from either Ilfracombe or Bideford and can carry 267 passengers.
She is also available for charters such as business meetings, private parties, fund raisers and wedding receptions.
