Book a Landmark. Be part of a story.

From fairytale towers and eccentric follies, to breathtaking forts and secluded cottages, the Landmark Trust offers remarkable places to stay for short breaks. Our charity has rescued hundreds of precious buildings from destruction and dereliction, carefully restoring each one with ancient craft skills and adding modern comforts past inhabitants could only dream about: fully equipped kitchens, contemporary bathrooms and cosy heating. The cost of your break goes directly towards caring for the property, saving it for future generations to enjoy, so it will never again fall into disrepair.

Holidays that help heritage

The booking income our charity receives goes towards repairing and maintaining buildings in our care. Our ambitious rescue projects have won awards, the experience we offer has won accolades, coming top in Which? magazine’s 2020 survey of holiday accommodation providers. But they come with far more than that; they come with their own stories. Stories of survival, nostalgia, romance and innovation. Which story will you be a part of?
