The Gothic Temple is a splendid, historic folly built in the gardens at Stowe in 1741. Inside the rooms are all circular with the main vault of the central space painted with heraldry and to be on the first floor gallery is an important architectural experience. Our friendly staff will be on had providing information about the building's hisotry and restoration.
Pre-booking via Eventbrite is preferred but not essential.
Please note that whilst entrance to the Gothic Temple is free, charges to Stowe Landscape Gardens will still apply to non-National Trust members. You can find pricing information on their website: Stowe gardens.

Gothic Temple is situated on a hill with a gravel path, around a 20-minute walk from the main entrance of Stowe National Trust. Please contact Stowe National Trust directly to enquire about mobility buggies: (Accessibility at Stowe | Buckinghamshire | National Trust).
The ground floor of Gothic Temple is accessible. The first floor is accessed by a steep spiral staircase.
