MawsonKerr are Newcastle based architects formed in 2010 with a keen interest in sustainability. Notable completed buildings are Sunbeams Music Centre in Cumbria and Shawm House in Northumberland shortlisted for the 2017 House of the Year. The practice is working on a number of high profile historic buildings at present including Whitby Abbey and Newcastle’s Bigg Market.
