Susan is the Estates Director responsible for all the Landmark and let estate buildings in the portfolio throughout the UK and in Italy. She manages a team of project, regional and let estates surveyors, who are supported by a QS, H&S advisor, and a central admin team. Susan also manages a small workshop craft team based in Honeybourne.
Prior to working for the Trust, Susan worked for Martin Ashley Architects, a small architectural practice specialising in conservation and for Historic Royal Palaces as a conservation surveyor based at Hampton Court Palace. Susan is a Chartered Building Surveyor and a SPAB Scholar.
