Simon Verdon read Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester and qualified as a Land Agent with Cooke and Arkwright in Hereford where he was responsible for the day to day management of 15,000 acres of agricultural land, property and forestry in North Wales and the border counties.
Before joining Landmark he was a director of a forestry company with responsibility for acquiring forestry investments in the UK and USA where, inter alia, he bought 36,000 acres of timberland for a UK life company. Outside of Landmark he sails, skis, rides and tries to grow vegetables.
