Supporting Getaways for Good beneficiaries
Each Landmark Trust property has its own property page on the website where essential information can be found including access information for that property.
The Landmarks available as part of the Getaways for Good scheme have been selected for their flexibility and in many cases have been restored with accessibility in mind.
Due to the nature of historic buildings, some Landmark properties are not suited to those with limited mobility or physical disabilities. Many Landmarks have steep or narrow staircases, uneven floors and thresholds, changes of level, low ceilings or beams, as well as indistinct colours on steps and in corridors.
Most accessible Getaways for Good properties
- Calverley Old Hall, West Yorkshire, has a lift, accessible bedroom and bathroom and accessible features in the kitchen. Read the Access Guide.
- Alton Station, Staffordshire, has ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Crownhill Fort, Plymouth, has level access throughout the building and wide doorways.
- Station Agent's House, Manchester, has lift access to the 1st and 2nd floors.
- Silverton Park Stables has ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms.

Support for neurodiverse guests

- If additional photos of the Landmark are required to support visualisation before the stay, we are able to provide these on request.
