How to find us
Plymouth Railway Station is about 3 miles from Crownhill Fort. From the station you can either take a taxi or bus to Crownhill Fort.
Crownhill Fort is served by both Plymouth City and First buses. Services 15, 40, 41, 42, 44, 83 and 86 stop within ¼mile of the entrance with around 20 buses per hour during the daytime.
Crownhill Fort is easily accessible by bicycle and once inside the Fort secure parking with CCTV coverage is available. Limited shower facilities are available, call the Landmark Trust office for more information.
Exit the A38 at the Manadon junction with the A386 and head northwards. Keep to the left hand lane until you go beneath an underpass and follow the signs for Crownhill Fort. If you are coming from Tavistock, head south on the A386 until you get to Crownhill where you will see signs for Crownhill Fort.
