Griff is a presenter, writer and broadcaster. In the early 1980s he worked on the BBC television comedy sketch shows Not the Nine O'Clock News and Alas Smith & Jones alongside Mel Smith. With Smith, Griff founded television production company Talkback Productions, now part of RTL Group and later in 2005, he started the production company Modern Television. Griff is a passionate advocate of heritage preservation. Griff is President of Civic Voice, Vice President of the Victorian Society, Patron of the Stour and Orwell Trust and Ambassador for the Prince's Regeneration Trust. Griff recently spoke at a media briefing to launch our 50th anniversary plans.
