Visiting boats or aircraft
As well as the scheduled ship and helicopter services visitors are welcome to use their own transportation, subject to a small landing fee.
The Landing Bay provides a sheltered anchorage for yachts and other small craft with an easily accessible slipway. For those with their own planes or helicopters we have a small grassy airfield adjacent to the Old Light and a helipad on the edge of the village - in each case advance permission is required.
