Lundy Day Tickets Terms & Conditions
Contract
Once we have accepted your order and payment a contract has been entered into, upon these terms and conditions, and such contract is governed by English law. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us including the privacy policy.
General
We will make every effort to ensure that trips run to the agreed times, however we reserve the right to vary operating times. Passengers are requested to ring our Information Line on 01271 863636 after 8.00pm the evening before you sail to obtain an update on sailing conditions and times.
Whilst the information on our website is correct at the time of publishing, we reserve the right to change any of the prices, services, or other particulars contained in published information at any time before we enter into a contract with you.
No fireworks, Chinese or sky lanterns (or other lights or illuminations which have naked flames) shall be let off, drones shall not be operated and firearms are not permitted.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on the vessel itself and on the boarding platform leading to the vessel.
Passengers deemed intoxicated will be denied entry.
Dogs are not permitted unless they are a registered assistance dog.
Cancellation
In the event that the Captain decides that conditions are not suitable for day trip visitors you may change your booking to another date or obtain a refund.
No refunds will be made If you miss your scheduled departure or if you choose not to sail. It may be possible to transfer tickets to another sailing that season, providing we have been given at least 48 hours notice.
Payments
We accept Visa, MasterCard and sterling cheques drawn on a UK bank, Landmark Trust Gift Vouchers and Lundy Company Gift Vouchers. Cheques should be made payable to The Lundy Company Ltd. All payments must be in sterling.
VAT
Our prices include VAT where appropriate. If VAT rates change, we reserve the right to amend our prices accordingly.
Limitation of liability
Our liability to you and those accompanying you is strictly limited to direct loss up to the amount paid by you on booking but this does not apply to our liability for:
a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation on our part;
c) anything else for which liability may not at law be excluded.
We shall not be liable to you at all for any indirect or consequential loss, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or otherwise.
We reserve the right to terminate a booking at any time if these conditions are not met in full.
