Current Appeals
The South Tower
Wentworth Woodhouse is one of the largest and most famous 18th century houses in England. Working in partnership with the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust, we hope to create a Landmark for two in the South Tower of the East Front.
This Palladian mansion is set in an equally important landscape, today rescued from open-cast mining during the mid-20th century. Built by the 1st and 2nd Marquesses of Rockingham from 1730. The upper chamber of the South Tower is an important survival of feminine taste in the Georgian period.
RAF Ibsley Watch Office
RAF Ibsley Watch Office once played a crucial part in Britain’s fight against the dark forces of Hitler’s planned invasion. The building at the former Second World War airfield in the New Forest now stands derelict and in peril. We aspire to rescue this monument to human courage and create a thought-provoking Landmark.
Future Projects
Works on the horizon
Here at Landmark, we are approached with around 150 endangered historic buildings each year. Here are a few buildings that may become future projects.
