If you are looking for a special gift for family and friends, or perhaps would simply like to treat yourself, there are several Landmark gifts you can choose.
Our Director Anna Keay and our Historian Caroline Stanford have co-written a sumptuously illustrated 280-page hardback book to mark Landmark's 50th anniversary. This is the first time Landmark’s pioneering work has been catalogued and seen through the lens of Britain’s social, political and economic past.
To mark our 50th Anniversary we have worked with Emma Bridgewater Pottery on a special edition anniversary mug. The hand-drawn design includes delicate drawings of Gothic Temple, Swiss Cottage, Ingestre Pavilion and Laughton Place, to name but a few. See how many Landmarks you can identify! Each mug sold will generate £10 towards rescuing historic buildings.
The Landmark Trust Handbook is a book to treasure; it will fascinate anyone interested in historic buildings and enrich any bookcase. A useful guide when planning Landmark holidays, it is also an ideal way to introduce family and friends to the work of the Landmark Trust.
Landmark Gift Vouchers make an excellent present for a birthday, Christmas or a special occasion, providing an experience that will never be forgotten even by the person who has everything. Sometimes family and friends join together to treat someone to a stay at a Landmark, and we can operate a ‘group giving’ service to allow several givers to buy a special stay jointly.
To purchase Gift Vouchers or to set up a Group Gift, please contact our Booking Office on 01628 825925 or email [email protected]. Vouchers are available for any amount from £10 upwards and will be supplied in a Landmark presentation card.
The 2016 Landmark Lecture will be held on Monday 7 November at the RIBA in London, from 6.45pm, followed by a drinks reception. Dr Wendy Hitchmough will speak about the Arts and Crafts architect and designer, Charles Voysey. One of Voysey’s buildings, Winsford Cottage Hospital, is a future Landmark rescue project for which we are in the early planning stages.
Our Director, Dr Anna Keay, has published a new book entitled The Last Royal Rebel which explores the life of the dashing and doomed Duke of Monmouth, Charles II’s illegitimate son.
Author Jeanette Winterson has reflected upon LAND, Antony Gormley’s installation for our 50th year, in a special art catalogue to record the event. This short book has specially commissioned photos of the five cast-iron sculptures in stunning Landmark settings, and marks the end of a particularly exciting element of Landmark’s 50th anniversary year.
Harper Collins, which has been publishing its nature guide series for 70 years, is offering Landmarkers a 25% discount until 31 October on any of the guides, which encompass birds, trees, wild flowers, butterflies and fungi.
