St Mary’s Lane is in a quiet side street in the heart of the historic town of Tewkesbury close to Tewkesbury Abbey.
In Tewkesbury itself you can follow the The Battle Trail or visit the museum to learn more about the decisive battle of The Wars of the Roses in 1471. You can also take trip along the river with one of the many Tewkesbury Boat Trips.
Cheltenham - a 20 minute car journey away - is home to four internationally acclaimed festivals, the most famous being Cheltenham Jazz Festival each May. The Science, Music and Literature festivals are also held annually. Between these four festivals, over 215,000 tickets are sold each year, making Cheltenham a cultural hub from May until October.
Also in Cheltenham are The Wilson art gallery and the Holst Birthplace Museum. You can gain a 50% discount on exhibitions at The Wilson and free entry to the Holst Birthplace Museum with a National Art Pass, which enables its members to enjoy free entry to over 240 museums, galleries and historic houses throughout the UK as well as 50% off entry to major exhibitions. The pass is presented by one of Landmark's partners, the Art Fund, the national fundraising charity for art, which has been supporting museums and galleries for over 110 years by helping them to buy and display great works of art for everyone to enjoy. Income raised through the National Art Pass goes straight back into their charitable programme. You can find out more about the National Art Pass on the Art Fund's website here.
