The Landmark Trust have lovingly restored Winsford Cottage Hospital in Halwill Junction. Designed by Arts & Crafts architect CFA Voysey, it has been at the heart of its community for over 100 years. Come along to our community open days to find out more about this fascinating building.
Enjoy a chance to look around the hospital now that the full restoration has taken place.
On both days WWI re-enactors will bring the wards to life and demonstrate early 20th century medical care.
On Sunday, Little Acorn Furniture will be on site to finish off work to our Voysey chair, made by volunteers during the summer. Visitors will learn how to make wooden pegs and fit them in to the chair to secure its joints.
Free Admission to Winsford Cottage Hospital and leaflets on the building's history. Click here for location. Refreshments will be available.
