The Landmark Trust is opening Robin Hood's Hut in association with Heritage Open Days.
Approaching Robin Hood's Hut through the dark wood, you come upon an apparently rustic cottage, with thatched roof and bark-clad door. Once inside, the elegant interior provides a fitting antechamber to the umbrello, from where the view stretches across the Mendip Hills towards the Bristol Channel and the mountains of South Wales beyond.
Free Admission and leaflets on the building's history. Click here for location.
St Edward's Church in Goathurst will also be open so there's plenty to see and do.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be no parking at the property. You are welcome to park at Halswell Park and then follow the walking signs up to the property. Halswell Park will also be open as a part of Heritage Open Days.
