Maesyronnen Chapel was registered at the Easter Quarter Session of the Assizes at Presteigne in 1697, making it the earliest purpose-built Nonconformist chapel surviving unaltered in Wales and predating other buildings by nearly 80 years!

This year the building turns 325 years old and to celebrate we're opening the Landmark accommodation in conjunction with the Chapel itself. This is arare chance to see both the Chapel and the Landmark itself.

During the weekend, there will be a series of free events in the field next to the chapel. As well as refreshments and exhibitions by organisations such as the Royal Commission for the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales (RCAHMW), Christian Aid and the National Churches Trust, there will be live music during the day on Saturday from Rob Westall (a musician and Christian radio presenter) & Friends, guest speakers and other performers. On Sunday there will be a special service in the morning and our minister will lead a meditation in the afternoon. Click here for a schedule of events.
