Queen Anne's Summerhouse is an early eighteenth-century brick-built folly

The ancient moated site of Astley Castle holds unequivocally modern living accommodation clasped within the shell of the Castle. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the huge living room and kitchen look out over Astley’s former collegiate church and into beautiful internal courts formed by ruined spaces. Come and explore the new accommodation hidden within the ruined walls and the new knot garden and find out more about its history through our footpath trails.

We are delighted to host Sudden Impulse Theatre Company at Old Campden House/Astley Castle again this year, performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream. For more details and tickets please go to their web page.

On Saturday 24 June – Fairy and Folk – a family friendly day of music and magical activities (and a bit of mischief) in and around the castle grounds with Nuneaton Folk Club and Sudden Impulse Theatre Company. Entrance is free.

Astley Church will be open with stalls and refreshments in the Reading Room all weekend.

Free Admission and leaflets on the building's history. Click here for location
