Talking to Dive Clubs

Wessex Archaeology staff are talking to local dive clubs about the history of the Iona II and the results of the diver survey. Dive clubs will also get an exclusive look at the first draft of the dive trail interpretation materials and have the opportunity to make comments.

Test dives organised

To make sure that the dive trail works well from start to finish, two groups of divers will be taken out to test the dive trail in May. In return for a free dive, club members will be asked to provide feedback on the dive trail materials such as–

Was the website easy to navigate?

Is it possible to turn the pages of the guides underwater? Was sufficient information provided about the wreck?

Did you enjoy the experience?

Dive trail launched at Splash In!

On Saturday 14th June 2014, the Iona II Dive Trail was launched at Lundy's annual underwater photography competition, Splash In!  

All participants received a limited edition Iona II Dive Trail T-shirt and entries into the competition, including information on winners and prizes, can be found on the Lundy Conservation Team Facebook page.
