Heritage craft skills demonstrations

Meet local heritage craft professionals and artisans and watch demonstrations of some of the key skills we will be employing during our project. If you get a taste for the skills you see, then we can arrange hands-on workshops at a later date.

This free event does not require booking, but access to the inside of the buildings will be restricted.

Join artist weaver Agnis Smallwood to explore Calverley Old Hall and create a woven hanging inspired by its architecture and history. Two half day sessions for small groups and families. Join artist weaver Agnis Smallwood to explore Calverley Old Hall and create a woven hanging inspired by its architecture and history. The workshop will take place out of doors/under a gazebo, and access to the inside of the buildings will be restricted.
No previous experience of the craft is necessary. This workshop is suitable for beginners. This session is suitable for all ages and we welcome families and groups. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied.

Calverley Old Hall theatre performance

Sudden Impulse Theatre Company will be performing Kes, a play by Robert Evans based on 'A Kestrel for a Knave' by Barry Hines. The performance will start at 7pm.
