Our offices are based on the Shottesbrooke Park estate in the village of White Waltham in Berkshire. The leafy surroundings contain a 14th-century church, peaceful lake, walking paths and lots of wildlife. Converted stables and a farmhouse form the base for a small, friendly office housing the director and functions including HR, Finance, Development, Historic Estates, Marketing and IT.

Easy access by car

There is easy access by car from the M4 and M40. Close by are Maidenhead, Marlow, Reading, Henley, Bracknell, Windsor and Slough. The closest train stations are Twyford and Maidenhead with a 15 minute taxi to the office. There is ample on-site parking.

Digital Content Manager

The Landmark Trust’s marketing and communications team plays a critical role in delivering Landmark’s overarching agreed strategic objectives, including sustaining/growing occupancy levels and communicating its charitable activities. The Digital Content Manager will be responsible for promoting Landmarks as wonderful places to stay and reinforcing our purpose as a compelling charity deserving of support, plus increasing awareness, engagement and booking and supporter income.

As a key member of the team, you will play a central role in planning, producing, publishing and distributing Landmark Trust content for multiple platforms including the website, social media and paid digital advertising. You will drive digital content, for instance by researching and drafting blogs and managing our social media platforms. You will drive brand consistency across digital channels and develop analysis, reporting and insights that enhance Landmark's long-term plans.

Individual Giving Officer (Direct Marketing)

We're looking for an Individual Giving Officer (Direct Marketing) to join our Development Team. This role will be responsible for implementing and managing a range of direct marketing campaigns end-to-end (both digital and offline) and for the recruitment, development and retention of single gift, regular gift, and raffle supporters.

You'll be building on an established programme of individual giving with an active supporter base and a calendar of fundraising appeals and activities across digital and traditional channels, including direct mail, social media, and email. Your focus will be to improve the supporter journey and use data analysis, reporting and metrics to drive future strategy. This position is responsible for regular/committed givers, as well as executing an effective strategy to recruit and retain new regular givers. You'll also seek to maximise the opportunities from digital fundraising to complement print and direct mail.

Environmental Sustainability Programme Manager

This is a two-year fixed term role which will drive forward a series of projects and specific initiatives in support of our strategic plan, with a particular focus on the Landmark's Environmental Sustainability programme. This has identified a series of key themes including putting in place systems and infrastructure to ensure the charity can continue to work as it grows, capturing and codifying what we do to enable succession, and some ambitious aspirations in relation to becoming more environmentally responsible in our work and a path to Net Zero.

The role will work cross-departmentally, bringing together people and information, gathering data and setting up processes, to move on important projects to which the organisation is committed. It will also support the Director and Chief Operating Officer in areas of their work.

Energetic, systematic, equally good with people and information, this role will identify what needs to be done to progress important tasks and initiatives and co-ordinate the people and information to move them forward. The successful candidate will be mentally agile, motivated, resourceful and have excellent initiative, working proactively to identify options and document processes. An interest in the work of the Landmark Trust and a passion for environmental sustainability will be important.
