Contractor - Dunshay Manor

We are looking to appoint a Contractor to undertake the restoration of Dunshay Manor, Worth Matravers, near Swanage, Dorset. Dunshay Manor was bequeathed to the Landmark Trust by Mary Spencer Watson, a renowned mid-20th-century sculptor who had lived there since childhood. The building is listed Grade II*.

The project will be funded by the Landmark Trust through their legacy estate and past building sales. On completion, Dunshay Manor will open as a Landmark in 2019.

We are inviting expressions of interest from Contractors to tender for the restoration works package. If the project is of interest, please express your interest via email to the Project Manager Adrian Stenning at Stenning & Co Ltd on adrian.stenning@stenningandco.com.

The anticipated value of the project is approximately £900,000.

Expressions of Interest must be given by 12 noon on Friday 13 April 2018. Those expressing interest will be provided with a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) which will need to be completed and returned to the Project Manager. Following review, a tender list will be assembled and Contractors informed if they are to be invited to tender. If selected, tender documents will be issued for pricing and further information will be requested for the final selection of the preferred Contractor. The final selection will be made upon a “Best Value” basis, i.e. assessed on both Price and Quality – with a 50/50 split between the two.
