Dominic West is an actor who has appeared on the stage, screen and television. Born into a large family in Sheffield, he was educated at Eton College, Trinity College Dublin and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is best known for his television roles in The Wire, The Hour and The Affair. In addition to the West End and Broadway, he has appeared on stage at The Almeida Theatre, The Old Vic and The Sheffield Crucible. He currently lives in London with his wife and five children.
