The West Banqueting House
This enclosed site on the edge of Chipping Campden, set among the rolling hills of rural Gloucestershire, is one of Landmark's most intriguing and evocative clusters of buildings. The exquisite East and West Banqueting Houses once flanked a grand Jacobean country house - Old Campden House - of which now only a charred fragment remains, standing between them. If you book either of the Banqueting Houses (or both together), a portion of the guests will have their own separate (though nearby) sleeping quarters - in the North Lodge, or in the Almonry, with its own cosy sitting room complete with wood-burning stove.

Saddell Bay is a truly breathtaking location for a stay in Scotland; a quiet haven on the east coast of Kintyre abounding with rugged, natural beauty. We have six Landmarks at Saddell, including Saddell Castle (a 16th-century tower house built by the Bishop of Argyll), Saddell House (a large, grand house with stags’ heads mounted in its fine panelled dining room), and a number of smaller lodges and cottages which sleep between four and six people.

Ford Cottage
Coombe is a quintessentially picturesque Cornish hamlet, populated with several thatched cottages and its own bubbling stream – all just a short stroll away from the coast. All of these buildings are Landmarks, including 1 & 2 Hawkers Cottage and 1 & 2 Mill House. You could book both halves of these semi-detached Landmarks, or indeed you could book a number of the buildings, such as the former carpenter's workshop, in the hamlet if you’re a larger party.

The Egyptian House - located in the heart of Penzance, Cornwall - dates from the early 18th-century, though was remodelled in the 1830s with what is surely the most striking facade of any Landmark. The 1st floor sleeps three people, and the 2nd and 3rd floors each sleep four; they can be booked separately, or all together, making it an ideal house-share for groups of between three and twelve wanting to gather for a visit to this fascinating historic town at the tip of Britain.

Ty Capel
Rhiwddolion (pronounced ‘Rutholeon’) is a remote and tranquil upland hamlet at the head of a valley in Wales. For a time there was a slate quarry and community here, but the site and its buildings were abandoned in the early 20th-century when the mines closed. We rescued and restored three of them - two cottages, and the former chapel - now all available as a set of small Landmarks (sleeping between two and four people), perfect for groups of nature-lovers, dog-owners or keen walkers.
