How to book

Everything you need to know about the Landmark Trust’s buildings and our approach is in the latest edition of the Landmark Trust Handbook, which you will need to book your break, along with the latest Price List and our booking conditions. To order a copy please visit The Handbook or contact the Booking Office.

Currently details of individual buildings are not available on-line. We intend to add this informaton as we develop this site.

When you are ready to book, the best way is to telephone our Booking Office on 01628 825925. We can then answer any questions you may have about our distinctive buildings or suggest suitable alternatives if your first choice is not available.

The Booking Office is normally open:

9am – 6pmMonday to Friday
10am – 4pmSaturday

Please note that the Booking Office gives priority to telephone calls, rather than faxes, emails or letters, and that we presently do not operate an on-line booking facility.

Staying in Landmarks

Villa Saraceno, Vicenza | Methwold Old Vicarage, Norfolk

All our buildings are remarkable in some way and some are positively eccentric. Nevertheless, we make each Landmark as practical and comfortable as we can without damaging its character.

All have modern bathrooms. The kitchens are traditional and well-equipped. Some of the larger buildings have dishwashers, freezers or washing machines. There are no microwaves, telephones or televisions. Linen and towels are provided and the beds will be made up on arrival. Most Landmarks have a cot for a baby but bedding is not provided. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, except in a few buildings where this is not suitable.

Landmarks are let all year round and every building has heating of some kind and many have open fires or stoves. However, historic buildings can rarely be entirely draught-proofed without spoiling their character, so at some buildings you may wish to bring extra jumpers or hot water bottles. These are marked as ‘Hardy’ in the Price List.

Some Landmarks have awkward stairs or other oddities; all have the patina of age. The Landmark Trust Handbook and Price List provide further details, as can the Booking Office.
